RECIPE FOR EUROPA WAFFLES
- 250g of flour
- 125 g butter
- 200 ml of milk
- 70 g of sugar
- 2 small teaspoons baking powder
- 3 eggs
Whisk eggs and sugar until foamy. Add melted butter to the mixture and mix well.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add it together with the milk to the mixture of eggs and sugar. The mixture is ready when the lumps are no longer visible.
Turn on the waffle iron and add the mass at a suitable temperature so that it covers the surface of the baking tin. Close and bake for 4-6 minutes.
Coat the baked waffles with any fruit – strawberries and bananas are the most popular in the Hotel Evropa Café – and top with rich melted chocolate.
P.S .: – if you don’t have a waffle maker, a toaster with high edges also works quite well 😉
